About
Doug hails from the Northeast Kingdom of New Hampshire. His passion for the outdoors was cultivated at a young age through hiking, backpacking, hunting, fishing, and exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Maine.
He was introduced to rock climbing at Rumney while attending Plymouth State University. Since graduating PSU with a Bachelors of Science in Outdoor Adventure Education he has spent most of his time traveling around the U.S. and parts of Canada to climb and snowboard.
He has guided climbing in Acadia National Park, ME and Smith Rock State Park, OR. While confronting his phobia of taking rest days he enjoys long walks in the woods, drinking coffee, and daydreaming about the next adventure.
