I have over 25 years of experience fly fishing in both fresh and salt waters all over the world. I am a U.S.C.G. certified Captain and a New York State licensed D.E.C. fly fishing Guide. My passion is sharing fly fishing adventures on the Lake Erie and Lake Ontario tributaries located minutes from my home. I reside in Webster, New York on Lake Ontario where I fish all year round.

As an appointed representative to the New York State D.E.C. Fishery Management Focus Group in 2018 and 2019, I promote a “protect and preserve” policy with all fisheries and successfully promote public awareness of conservation in the sport fishing community. I also teach “catch and release” and “fair tactic” fishing techniques. I am dedicated to protecting our marine resources.

My passion for promoting this world class fishery through conservation lead me to initiate, manage and deliver two “catch and release” fishing sections on the Lake Ontario tributaries of Four Mile Creek and Mill Creek in Webster, N.Y. Working closely with the Town Of Webster, the N.Y.S. Department of Environmental Conservation and other community organizations, these projects have been successfully completed. As a result, wild Brown Trout, Steelhead and Salmon continue to naturally reproduce and imprint on Four Mile Creek and Mill Creek.
