Day one is spent in Boulder Canyon reviewing basic climbing skills with an emphasis on application in the outdoors. The day will be spent going over the nuances of climbing and the skills to protect yourself on natural stone and in the elements.
Day two takes place in Eldorado Canyon. Switching venues will cement the techniques learned from the day before. This course will prepare you to be able to execute thorough safety checks, belaying with multiple devices, tying in, rappelling, and have an understanding of climbing movement as it relates to outdoor climbing.
This clinic is recommended for beginner to intermediate climbers transitioning from the gym to climbing outside.

LNT at the crag
Review of knots and belaying
Basic safety guidelines for outdoor climbing: closing the system, ground anchors, rock fall, etc.
